Open-source software notices

DraftFort uses open-source software to provide browser-based document processing. These notices describe components distributed with the site; they do not imply that their authors endorse DraftFort.

QPDF WebAssembly

The Password Protect PDF and Unlock PDF tools use QPDF 12.2.0 compiled to WebAssembly by@neslinesli93/qpdf-wasm 0.3.0. The build recipe pins QPDF source commit856d32c…, zlib commit 21767c6…, libjpeg-turbo commit7aa2a89… and Emscripten 3.1.74.

QPDF is copyright © 2005-2021 Jay Berkenbilt and © 2022-2025 Jay Berkenbilt and Manfred Holger. It is licensed under the Apache License 2.0. The WebAssembly compiler wrapper declares the ISC license.

Other application libraries

DraftFort's dependency lockfile records the exact versions and integrity hashes of its JavaScript packages. Their source and license information is available from the linked projects and the package metadata distributed through npm. Major PDF components includepdf-lib,PDF.jsand pdfmake. The Text Compare tool uses the MIT-licensedjsdifflibrary for deterministic text differences and unified patch creation.

No additional data recipient

These libraries are delivered as static site assets and execute on the visitor's device. DraftFort does not use their authors or package maintainers as document-processing services.
