Combine PDFs without uploading them anywhere
Many online PDF tools upload documents to a remote service. DraftFort does not send the PDFs you select: the browser reads the files, copies their pages into a new PDF in memory and downloads the result to your device. Ordinary page assets and privacy-preserving analytics may still make network requests, but your PDF bytes and contents are not part of those requests.
How to merge PDF files

For example, add cover-letter.pdf, resume.pdf and portfolio.pdf, then use
the arrows until they appear in that order. The result is one merged.pdf with
all pages from the first file, followed by all pages from the second and third.
What the merger preserves — and what to check

Always open the result and check page order, orientation, forms and links before submitting it. Keep the originals, especially when they contain a digital signature or other document-level evidence.

Is this PDF merger free?
Yes — completely free with no account, no sign-up, and no watermark on your merged file.
Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Your PDFs are combined entirely inside your web browser and are never uploaded to or stored on DraftFort's servers. Keep in mind that the page can still request ordinary site assets and analytics; those requests do not contain the PDF you selected.
Can I choose the order of the files?
Yes. After adding your files, use the up/down arrows to arrange them. They're merged top-to-bottom in the order you set.
Is there a limit on the number or size of files?
There's no fixed limit, but because everything runs in your browser, very large files depend on your device's memory. For most documents it's fast and smooth.
Will the quality change?
The tool copies PDF pages rather than taking screenshots, so page text normally remains selectable and page visuals are not recompressed. However, document-level features such as bookmarks, attachments, interactive forms and digital signatures may not survive into the newly created PDF. Verify the result before relying on it.
Can it merge password-protected or digitally signed PDFs?
Not directly. If you know an authorised password, use DraftFort's Unlock PDF tool first. Merging creates a new PDF and should not be used when an existing digital signature must remain valid; keep the signed original.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — it works in any modern browser on phone, tablet or desktop.
