Privacy Policy

The short version

DraftFort is built privacy-first. Document generation and supported file processing happen inside your web browser. The information you type into a tool, and supported PDFs, logos or images you add, arenot sent to or stored on DraftFort's servers.

Don't just trust us — verify it

Most sites say they're private. OurPrivacy Verification Lab gives you a harmless synthetic PDF, its SHA-256 fingerprint, current results, a source-backed provider comparison, and a repeatable Chrome DevTools method. Here are the two checks behind it:

  1. Watch the network. Open your browser's developer tools (F12), select the Network tab, then use and export from a tool. Normal requests for site code may appear, but no request contains your document, file, or the information entered into the form.
  2. Read the browser security policy. View the page source and find Content-Security-Policy. Its connect-src directive restricts network destinations to this site and any service explicitly enabled in our configuration. This is defense in depth; the core privacy protection is that tool code processes document inputs locally and does not submit them to a server.

DraftFort has no AI writing feature or document-processing API. Tool inputs are not sent to an AI model. Adding such a service would change the product's privacy architecture, not merely enable an optional feature.

Information we do not collect

PDF passwords

The Unlock PDF tool passes the password you enter directly to a temporary WebAssembly worker in this browser. DraftFort does not upload, receive, log, analyse or store that password. The tool does not place it in localStorage or a browser draft. The field is cleared after an attempt, and the temporary worker is terminated when the attempt finishes or times out. Like any information displayed or processed on your device, it may still be visible to someone who controls your device, browser or installed extensions.

Information stored on your own device

Stateful generators include a Private draft control. Browser saving is off by default for new visitors. If you enable it, that tool stores its draft only in this browser so it can survive a refresh. Disabling saving or pressing the tool's Reset orClear action removes DraftFort's saved draft; browser site-data controls can remove it as well. A previously saved DraftFort draft is kept visible after this policy change so that an existing visitor's work is not silently deleted.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate visits and real-world page performance. Its lightweight beacon does not use cookies or localStorage, does not build advertising profiles, and does not track people across websites. Advertising

We do not currently display advertising, and DraftFort does not currently load Google advertising tags. To help fund the site later, we may display clearly labelled Google AdSense ads on manually reviewed editorial articles. Our initial monetisation design deliberately keeps advertising code off the interactive tools, calculators, upload workflows, privacy pages and tool hubs, so third-party ad code does not share a page with document inputs or supported files.

If advertising is activated, third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to personalise ads based on visits to sites on the Internet. Users can opt out of personalised Google advertising throughGoogle's Ads Settings. We will identify any additional advertising vendors here before using them and provide their available opt-out information. Before serving ads to visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, DraftFort will configure a Google-certified consent management platform and obtain consent where required. Declining consent will not prevent access to DraftFort's free tools.

Cookies

Essential functionality on this site works without advertising cookies. Advertising cookies are not currently set. If advertising is activated, non-essential cookies used by ad partners will be handled according to the consent choice and applicable requirements described above.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the latest version.
